Car of the Month: Seat Leon
I chose Seat Leon as this month’s car as it’s a Spanish car and I really love it.
And the Car of the Month is… Seat Leon!
Seat Leon is a series of cars produced by the Spanish car manufacturer SEAT, S. A.
Seat Leon I (1999-2005)
The first series of Seat Leon were produced in 1999, named as Seat Leon I. The firsts Leon were 5-door hatchback.
Depending on the variant, they could come with different engines:
Petrol:
- 1.4L 16V
- 1.6L 8V
- 1.6L 16V
- 1.8L 20V
- 1.8L 20VT (Sport/FR)
Diesel:

Seat Leon II (2005-2012)
The Seat Leon II was presented in the Salón del Automóvil de Ginebra in 2005 as a prototype, and was starting to be produced months later. The only option available was 5-door hatchback.

The third model of the Leon series was introduced to the market in 2012, now with 3 types of bodyworks:

- 3-door version called Leon SC or SportCoupé
- 5-door touring version called Leon ST or SportsTourer
